Dumfries House, part of the Prince’s Foundation, has been working with DC7 since January 2018. We have thousands of guests visiting the Estate every year, so it is really important that we serve delicious high-quality coffee in every cup.
After meeting the team at DC7 they suggested we install additional equipment to help improve the service and products we offer our customers and these changes have made a huge difference to the service we now provide.
We work closely with The Prince’s Trust and run regular ‘Get into Hospitality’ courses on the Estate, providing hospitality training to local, unemployed young people.
As part of this course, our students have a full day Barista training session which the DC7 team now provides. At the end of the training day, the students who begin with no experience are confident in producing a range of speciality coffees, and also possess a knowledge of the where the coffee beans originate, the roasting process and also equipment maintenance.
The service provided from DC7 to date has been second to none. The company have supported us at all our major events throughout the year, supplying additional equipment and stock. The entire team, from the office & sales staff to the engineers are all a credit to the company.
